Funds will be retained from year to year to cover expenses for the next year. The Grant request form will be online at the Sertoma site in PDF form. An ongoing list of recipients will be established. Return the prepaid or discount coupons to be recycled to Amie Anderson. Thanks Kari Satre and Bonnie Cumberland for their assistance with note taking.
Caption for Picture Kari Satre has been doing a great job of taking interesting pictures that spice up our meeting notes. Our lovely stand-in President LoAnn had her portrait taken. The two sergeants got caught looking like Mutt and Jeff. Karla Nelson and Brian Jelinski were suitably yucked out by Bonnie Cumberland's latest table decorations (her busy bees ended up yucky flies). That is also what is puzzling our chairman of the board.

Sertoman of the Day

Of Note
LoAnn wanted to recognize everyone who helped make Winter Wonderland a success. Every once in a while we need to give our outstanding members who are the visionaries who get a project started a standing ovation--Steve Mau, Steve Augustinack, Cathe Picek, and Lori Rubin. They received the support of so many hard-working Sertomans that we would have to have extra pages for thank you's to mention them all. If you get the opportunity to thank the light display sponsors, please do so. Big thanks BL Broadcasting and Mike Boen. Next years Co Chairs are: Cathe Picek, Lori Rubin, and Bill Goers.
Business Notes
Rick Besmehn is a hard working long standing member of Sertoma. He is also a talented person when it comes to working with dents and scratches that mar the perfection of our cars. See him to get it "Back to Exact".

Rumor Corner
  • What tall dark handsome retired guy named Jerry had to improve his cultural level this week and sit with Mary Marana and her crew. His buddy is cruising and so is he!!
  • Allen Hall was hiding out with the money from the tickets sales--maybe he is planning a cruise with Dick
  • Happy Fine--Joyce MIkesh got rid of her collar. Vern and Kris paid a dollar because John Raboin missed a meeting.
  • Joe Schulte did get by with skipping Bemidji because of his church connection. Dale Bolt will vouch for that!! By the way Mr. Bolt is still a gentleman at heart--he assisted the lovely Mary Marana with her chair today.
  • Rod Converse tried to blame the current economic crisis on Karen Owen's poor loan making as a banker.
  • Kari got a zinger in with Steve--told everyone she was afraid to take his pic because he would break the camera.
  • Trivia Contest to the Dog Pound--Big Mike was the answer to all the questions.. 1950 tv totally stumped them. Topper and My Little Margy were just too ancient even for them.
  • Safe and sober pin drive--Mike compared himself to Todd on the road looking for drunks. Mike Boen was wandering the room looking for "dirt"--Brian was a tough act to follow.
  • Apologies to Katie Imgrund for getting her first name wrong!!
  • Welcome back Rod Converse, and thanks for your contribution to the Rookie Party!
  • Welcome back Joe Schulte (from the harem).
  • Celebrity Sergeant Bill Goers was in fine form. Made all the realtors pay to stimulate the economy. Rod has a vested interestin Bonanza. All the bankers got fined because Reed Campbell didnt come--Bill had to share the Redneck Mile High Club at Winter Wonderland (ask Reed and his wife what took them so long in the heated Porta Potty). Jeff Fitch got fined for asking about Bill's air conditioner when it was twenty below.
